Founded in 1979 by Randy Mayer, Mayer Homes has been helping home buyers build their dream homes for 30 years.

Only 3 short years after start up, Mayer Homes was recognized nationally and ranked in the nation's top 400 Home Building Giants (as compiled and published in the industry magazine Professional Builder) and has remained there every year since.

Randy was joined by his brother Richard Mayer in mid 1984 who took over all aspects of the construction division and now serves as the President of Mayer Homes. In 1987 Randy's brother-in-law Harry W. Freeman Jr. came to Mayer Homes as an estimator and now serves as Vice President of Operations. Randy credits the early rapid growth of Mayer Homes and national ranking to this upper management staff.

In July 1993 Mayer Homes was recognized as the fastest growing homebuilder in the United States growing an incredible 135 percent in one single year!

Locally, Mayer Homes has received more St. Louis Single Family HOMER Awards than any other builder since 1986.
